Sthira Sukham Asanam (YS II.46) – The connection to the earth should be steady and joyful
375h certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher
Julieta completed the Jivamukti Yoga 75-hour Teacher Training Program in Barcelona in September 2022 and the 300-h Teacher Training Program in India in February 2023.
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” A contortionist! – said 10-year-old Julieta.
Perhaps the elaborate postures initially sparked her interest in yoga, but it was the lack of steadiness and joyfulness in her life that kept her in a regular practice, using it as a tool for self-awareness.
With a background in gymnastics, classical dance and Indian classical dance, she also looks at yoga as art, being a source of inspiration and a way to go beyond the mundane world.
Passionate about animals, she studied veterinary medicine. During her degree, she came into close contact with the world of animal industry, which made her reconsider her food choices and the way we, as a society, look at animals. The connection with Jivamukti was therefore inevitable, believing that the state of yoga, union, is only possible through compassion for all beings.
To be great, be whole
Exclude nothing, exaggerate nothing that is not you.
Be whole in everything. Put all you are
Into the smallest thing you do.
So, in each lake the moon shines with splendor
Because it blooms up above.
