Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Carolina moved to Europe to pursue a professional dance career. Fate, or perhaps her own life choices – or even a good combination of both – led her to follow different dreams and passions, eventually settling in Lisbon, Portugal.

Her background as a professional ballerina connected her with yoga, at first, to treat injuries and to stretch. After the first class, she noticed in her own body that it was more than that, that yoga was a powerful tool.

She had her first contact with Jivamukti in 2021, and she instantly felt like everything made sense, and that she found her type of yoga, as well, her exceptional teacher, Maria. With the evolution of the practice and growing meaning of yoga in her life, she decided to take the Jivamukti 75 hours Teacher Training in Lisbon, in June 2023. She now feels honored to serve this community, which warmly and compassionately welcomed her, now as a Spiritual Warrior class teacher.
